westlife's going seperate ways

Ok so this is it. i USED to be a HUGE fan of Westlife, and I would lie, if I said I weren't a little bit sad about them splitting up :-( BUT I can see it from their eyes. Being together for that many years and now married and/or with kids, and with so many great albums and tracks behind them, they truly deserve it. I have and will always love you Westlife :-) Hope you will come to Denmark next year for your farewell tour. I know I will be there ;-) I wish you all the best forward with your life and thank you for all the great memories I have got with your songs and concerts through the years..

Thirty Seconds To Mars Will Break Record For Most Amount Of Shows Performed During A Single Album Cycle
(New York, NY Oct. 17th, 2011) – Thirty Seconds To Mars will celebrate their 300th and final show in support of their critically acclaimed third studio album This Is War with a special Tribus Centum Numerarae concert at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom on Dec. 7th, 2011. They will also set a new Guinness World Record for the most shows played during a single album cycle. This Is War was released in December, 2009 and the band has since circled the globe numerous times, playing over 300 shows in almost 60 cities in 6 continents. True road warriors, they’ve sold out arenas around the world including London’s infamous O2, the first International Lollapalooza Festival in Santiago, Chile, played to over 75,000 people at Reading and Leeds Festivals, 100,000 people at Rock Am Park in Germany and more. Tickets for the Dec. 7th Hammerstein Ballroom show go on sale starting Saturday, October 22nd at 10am EST and American Express® cardmembers can purchase advance tickets starting today. The band is also planning a special week of unique shows celebrating this milestone, beginning on December 5th.
“We have been on the road for an incredible and insane two years and thought what better way to celebrate the end of this phenomenal journey than with a week of special shows in New York City. We thought documenting this for posterity with the Guiness Book of World Records would be fun especially as we aren’t any good at growing our fingernails very long or cultivating the world’s largest squash,” said frontman Jared Leto.
Thirty Seconds To Mars have cemented their status as one of the world’s biggest rock bands since the release of This Is War which has spawned 2-consecutive #1 singles with “Kings & Queens” and “This Is War” and top 10 single “Closer To The Edge.” Since release, This Is War has sold over 1.5 million albums and 1 million singles around the world. The album is certified platinum in three countries including the UK, Germany and Poland and has achieved gold status in seven countries including Ireland, Austria, Belgium, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
This Is War has scored a total of seven VMA nominations and the band won the 2010 VMA for Best Rock Video for “Kings & Queens.” They were nominated for three 2010 MTV EMAs, winning Best Rock and were recently nominated for three 2011 EMAs. They won Best International Band at both the 2010 and 2011 Kerrang! Awards and also picked up the 2011 Best Single Kerrang! for “Hurricane”. “Hurricane” which sparked controversy around the world when it was banned on many networks also won an MTV O award for Best NFSW Video at the 2010 inaugural ceremony.
